China’s “Saddest Polar Bear” Freed From Mall Prison

The world’s saddest polar bear, who is imaginatively names “Pizza” will be moving from his mall in China thanks to an Animal Asia petition. The bear had been kept in a glass enclosure at the Grandview mall in Guangzhou, Southern China. A petition brought the bear into the spotlight back in March when it had recieved over 150 thousand signatures. The same petition has now reached close to a million signatures and the mall have confirmed that “Pizza” will be moved, temporarily to a park in Northern China.
