Largest Rubik’s Cube weighs 1,500 pounds

The 1,500-pound Rubik’s Cube unveiled on April 13 is the largest solvable version of its kind. The interactive piece was created by the University of Michigan’s mechanical engineering students.

Ryan Kuhn, one of the students in the project, said, “It can take more than an hour to solve the giant cube.” For anyone interested in taking on the challenge, the giant Rubik’s Cube will be waiting for you at the Ann Arbor campus inside the G.G. Brown engineering building.
