Hundreds gathered dressed as Chaplin’s ‘The Tramp,’ breaks world record

There were 662 people dressed as Charlie Chaplin’s most famous character, “The Tramp” in Switzerland on April 16. This broke the world record for the largest number of people gathered together to dress as Chaplin’s character.

People of all ages participated in the event organized by the world’s only museum dedicated to the director, commemorating Chaplin’s 128th birthday. It’s only been a year since the museum opened its doors but almost 300,000 people have visited.
