Tornadoes touch down in Oklahoma and Texas

Tornado—the word is synonymous with chaos and destruction.

No one wants to hear that a twister is touching down anywhere nearby.

Residents in Corn and Duke, Oklahoma heard that news on the afternoon of May 18.

So did people in Cromwell, Texas.

Happily no one was hurt.

Fatal storms have already struck Oklahoma, Wisconsin, and Iowa this week.

Forecasters say tornado conditions will persist through Friday throughout the Southern Plains.
