Five people were killed in a helicopter crash in New York City on March 11.
The aircraft was flying over the East River with six people on board.
Two passengers were killed instantly.
Another three were taken to local hospitals and later died.
Only the pilot managed to free himself from the crash and survive.
First responders from city police and fire departments immediately swarmed the scene.
They were joined later by three boats from the U.S. Coast Guard.
The Federal Aviation Administration said it was investigating the crash.
