A teenager in Michigan missed the bus, so went looking for someone who could give him directions to school.
Brennan Walker, 14, walked around Rochester Hills on Thursday morning.
He didn’t have his phone, he told Fox 2, so he went to a nearby house and knocked on the door, aiming to ask for directions.
Walker said the man that opened the door, later identified as a 53-year-old retired Detroit firefighter, pulled a gun on him.
“The guy came downstairs, and he grabbed the gun, I saw it and started to run. And that’s when I heard the gunshot,” he said.
Police officers soon arrived on the scene and took the man into custody.
