For anyone who has ever traveled to a far-away country, the thought of the long flight, not to mention the process of getting to and from the airport, can present an obstacle to travel.
But there are ways to make long-haul flights easier to handle.
For instance, people often overestimate how much they need to bring, especially in terms of clothing. Unless you’re planning to take a trip off-the-grid, there will likely be laundry facilities near where you’re staying. Taking less clothing means less luggage to lug around and less time spent on choosing what to wear.
Plan carefully for various outfits and leave clothing behind that doesn’t serve in at least two different outfits.
