An image recently shared by NASA may have some wondering if the agency has switched from using cameras to paintbrushes.
The picture shows bright blue waters situated under a stunning mountain range, with the tops capped with snow.
NASA shared the image via Twitter, including the following caption: “From today’s #IceBridge flight: The southern Greenland town of Narsaq (right side of the photo), complete with soccer field.”
The Ice Bridge flights were conducted to map the current condition of the arctic ice, the agency said.
The flights began on March 22 and ended on May 2 after covering the western basin of the Arctic Ocean and Greenland’s glaciers.
