Sharon Osbourne Regrets Letting Eldest Daughter Leave Home at 16

Sharon Osbourne admitted she regrets letting her oldest daughter Aimee leave home when she was just 16 when the family decided to star in MTV reality show “The Osbournes.”

The TV star said on The Talk that daughter Aimee didn’t like the idea of growing up on a reality TV series.

“She hated the idea. It was appalling to her,” said Osbourne. “She left at 16 and I regret every day that she did. She was happy but it broke my heart when she moved.”

“The Osbournes” began airing in 2002. The show featured rocker Ozzy Osbourne and wife Sharon’s two other children, Jack and Kelly, according to People.

A day earlier, another celebrity mother spoke about a child wanting to leave home to escape the Hollywood lifestyle. Jada Pinkett Smith spoke on Red Table Talk about when son Jaden asked to be legally emancipated at age 15, People reported.
