Once in a lifetime, you meet someone and everything just clicks. Well, this is a love story of Lakshmi and her husband Vinod from Chandigarh. It is believed that true love doesn’t happen right away, rather it’s an ever-growing process. But this year on Karva Chauth what this couple did will redefine true love for you.
In a report by Dainik Bhaskar, Lakshmi did not have hands or legs since childhood. Due to this disability, her mother lost all hopes of getting her married, but that’s when Vinod met her and showed her what true love means.
Vinod has his own share of disability as he is a victim of polio. But he never let any of these difficulties come in between their love. He stated, “Life partners satisfy each other’s each need.”
After a year and half of relationship, the couple chose to get married and promised each other that they will remain together in all circumstance. Lakshmi happily says “Though God didn’t give me hands or legs, her life partner Vinod satisfies every one of my needs.”
During the Karwa Chauth, it was Vinod who held the strainer and Pooja ki thali for Lakshmi while following all the rituals. At that point, they both took a glance at each other.
Despite being differently abled, the couple has found love and strength in each other. If you have a good understanding like these two then life becomes easy and increases your mutual confidence. Perfection sometimes cannot be achieved singularly but looking at these two you can say that perfection can be achieved through the mutual love for each other.
