After having a mid-life crisis, this man let himself go. He let his beard and hair grow long in order to cope. That’s when his concerned wife took him to be a guest on the Rachael Ray Show, where he got the most amazing lift!
After much coaxing, Jeffrey Schultz, 52, finally agreed to getting a makeover. Even though he had become comfortable with his long-bristled look, his wife, Lori Schultz, had not. He didn’t look like the man she married. “His hair was all down his back with full, full-frontal facial hair,” she told News-Leader.
For a while, Lori had been thinking her husband needed a makeover, but she finally decided that enough was enough. “A couple months ago, my mom had cleaned out her attic and had a bunch of old pictures of my husband when we were dating,” she said.
Upon seeing how handsome Jeffrey used to be years ago, she wanted her husband back. She sent Rachael Ray a recent photo of him and the one from the attic from 30 years ago and requested a makeover. She wrote: “Don’t get me wrong, Rachael Ray. I love my husband inside-out, just help me with the outside.”
While on the show, Jeffrey was well taken care of by an excellent team: celebrity stylist Kyan Douglas and Elena Linares, who ran RazzleDazzle Barbershop in Miami. They did an incredible job shearing his brush, fixing up his new do, and even replacing his old, unflattering denim coveralls for some smart new duds.
When Lori saw her renewed and rejuvenated husband, she couldn’t believe her eyes. “That’s not my husband!” she thought. She said, “He looked totally different. Totally. His skin hasn’t seen fresh air for 20 years.”
She even got emotional, wiping away tears, then wrapping her arms around her handsome man. It was clearly a meaningful moment for her.
Jeffrey too was overwhelmed. On the show, he said, “I feel amazing. I’ve been razzle-dazzled.”
You have to see this amazing moment for yourself!
