Diwali, the festival of lights brings home happiness to one and all. However, apart from Indians celebrating it, the festival seems to have travelled across places and world leaders have celebrated it too. It is a proud moment for India as our culture is being diversly accepted and embraced!

From the President of United States to our Bollywood’s superstar Amitabh Bachchan, Diwali celebration has brought immense joy to all!

Donald Trump celebrated Diwali in the White House to symbolise the bond he cherishes with our Prime Minister, Narendra Modi. He celebrated the festival of lights along with senior Indian-American members of the administration. Much to everyone’s surprise, his daughter, Ivanka Trump also joined him during the celebrations!

Back in 2013, Britain Prime Minister David Cameron and his wife celebrated the festival in Shri Swaminarayan Mandir, London. A typical Indian style celebration wherein the couple took the blessings from the priest and even adorned their forehead with a ‘tika.’
