Hollywood actress Meriwether enjoyed Shen Yun’s performance and praised it as second to none.

Renown Hollywood actress Lee Meriwether and her husband Marshall Borden watched Shen Yun International Company’s performance in Thousand Oaks, California, on March 29. They praised Shen Yun’s performance as second to none, and the soprano’s voice ethereal.

Actress and model Lee Meriwether said, “It was just brilliant. It was a brilliant production. I tell everyone, you got to see this, if you don’t get a chance to see it now, you will see it in the following years, because there is nothing like it that I had ever seen. It was just really, truly brilliant. The dancing, the costuming, the music itself, and you learn a lot about ancient China, which I just … I am going to go and do some research because it is fascinating, it is the history that is unfolding in front you. It is just beautiful. So we are very lucky to have this come to us here in Thousand Oaks.”

Both Lee and Marshall were impressed by Shen Yun’s soprano.

Lee Meriwether, actress and model, “Her voice was just so ethereal; it really was so beautiful …”

Marshall Borden: “Well, in my business, we would crassly say, the lady has chops. Marvelous soprano, powerful soprano. I enjoyed it immensely. She is wonderful, quite wonderful.”

Marshall also found the tenor’s performance marvelous.

Marshall Borden: “The lyrics were quite marvelous. I thought they suited completely with the tenor of the entire production. It suited very very well, I thought, that artistic choice was excellent.”

Both of them were amazed by the speed of Shen Yun dancers changing costumes.

Marshall Borden: “My god, the wardrobe mistress back stage must have 14 hands. It was absolutely. The costume changes are amazing.”
Lee Meriwether, “I don’t know how they do.”
Marshall Borden, “It was incredible, quite incredible.”

They will tell friends not to wait but get Shen Yun’s tickets now.

Marshall Borden, “Don’t wait.”
Lee Meriwether, “Yes, don’t wait, get your tickets now.”
Marshall Borden, “It is wonderful.”
Lee Meriwether:”Everyone in the audience is going to go home and say, oh, you’ve got to see the show. You’ve got to see the show. And they will be so loud. So, get to the ticket office right away. ”
Marshall Borden, Actor, “Yes, I say, thank you for a lovely evening, it was marvelous.”
