Players cleared both benches at Coors Field in Denver on Wednesday, April 11, during an MLB meeting between the San Diego Padres and the Colorado Rockies.
The rush onto the field took place after Padres pitcher Luis Perdomo threw a ball behind Rockies third baseman Nolan Arenado.
Footage shared by the league shows Arenado launching from the plate at Perdomo in a fury after the ball went straight for his shoulder, which he dodged at the last second. Perdomo then throws a glove at Arenado, who then takes a swing at Perdomo, leading to a brawl involving both teams.
Arenado, speaking after the game, told USA Today that he expects to receive a suspension of some sort.
As of Thursday morning, no punishment had yet been announced by the league.
