A high-speed police chase in Ohio came to a harrowing end on April 11.
The incident started around 4 a.m. at the intersection of Grafton Road and Marks Road in Valley City, reported Fox 8.
The chase started after troopers with the Ohio State Highway Patrol tried to stop a white 2009 Mazda 6 for speeding.
But instead of stopping, the driver sped away. Troopers then gave chase.
The chase ended with the suspect’s vehicle running over a culvert before hitting a landscaping mound, which acted as a ramp to launch the car into the air. The vehicle went flying across two properties before crash-landing three doors down.
The driver, who survived, was rushed to a hospital via medical helicopter.
