Fire Crews in Arizona Rescue Trapped Horse

A horse was rescued in Arizona on Saturday after becoming trapped.

Crews with the Phoenix Fire Department rushed to the scene after the horse was discovered inside an abandoned trailer near 63rd Avenue and Broadway in Phoenix, reported Fox 10.

Officials believe the vehicle that was towing the trailer crashed, causing the horses to be pushed forward, breaking part of the trailer.

While the other horses inside were gone, one horse was left, trapped upside down with its head on the ground behind the trailer hitch.

Police officers are investigating the incident and are looking for the driver of the vehicle that was towing the trailer.

There’s no word as of yet on the animal’s condition. The horse is being treated after the rescue.
