Hot Air Balloon Crash Lands in California Neighborhood

A hot air balloon made an emergency landing in the Rancho Penasquitos area of San Diego, California, on Sunday, April 15.

Jordan Jennette captured dramatic footage of the hot air balloon touching down on a hillside over Penasquitos Drive. The balloon’s basket then became stuck in a brush and started to tip over as the balloon tried to go back up, according to a resident in the area, reported¬†NBC San Diego.

According to the news station, the deflated balloon blocked two roads temporarily but fortunately, the pilot and 14 passengers were not injured in the unplanned landing.
