Mark Kirsch pulled a C-17 plane during the Joint Base Charleston Air and Space Expo on April 28.
He has been in training for 12 years. He first started pulling planes for events like these in 2011.
“It’s a full time job with the training,” Kirsch told ABC 4.
He told ABC 4 that the C-17 is the biggest plane that can be pulled. During training, he doesn’t eat carbohydrates or sugars.
“I want to rely on my desire and drive and adrenaline to fuel my body versus a less inferior fuel source, which is sugar, so I’m training myself to even push the barrier on diet,” Kirsch told ABC 4.
