Almost two decades of relentless persecution of Falun Gong practitioners in China, who are subject to extreme vilification, harassment, torture, and forced organ harvesting at the hands of the Chinese Communist Party, is once again brought to the public’s attention. The bloody persecution has continued unabated for its 19th year straight. How many lives are to be lost before the world’s nations unite to say “no more” to the Chinese dictatorship?
The communist regime began its persecution of Falun Gong (also known as Falun Dafa) on July 20, 1999, for the reason that the peaceful meditation practice, with its three principles of “Truthfulness-Compassion-Tolerance,” was too popular.
Falun Gong adherents from various cities come together to once again peacefully demonstrate against the atrocities their fellow practitioners are subject to in China, and to mourn the loss of the unascertainable amount of innocent lives killed by the communist Party.

Falun Gong practitioners’ persistent efforts to expose the persecution in such a peaceful manner is admirable. Some may wonder what’s the use of signing petitions and demonstrating on the streets, especially if the persecution has not ceased in all these 19 years. Perhaps the following quote from Abraham Lincoln, the 16th President of the United States, may speak volumes of their noble cause.
“The probability that we may fail in the struggle ought not to deter us from the support of a cause we believe to be just.”
